Primary Purpose:

We are looking for a competent Security manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our group.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

·         Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures.

·         As security manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety.

·         Design, Implement and maintain security infrastructure

·         Configuring firewalls, Anti-virus, DLP, Drive Encryption, IPS/HIPS, Network Access Control (NAC), APT Solutions & cloud based security services

·         Perform security assessment for new projects and current deployments

·         Perform and assist in Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration testing activities

·         Take ownership of internal & external audits and achieve high compliance levels

·         Device maintenance and hardening

·         Being the Escalation point within the team for any Network and Security issues

·         Developing the technical troubleshooting Knowledge base & mentoring the technical teams

·         Manage performance of security devices/applications using relevant performance monitoring tools

·         Compliance to set Process, SLAs and Project/Program Guidelines & standards

·         Practical knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Security Framework is a must

·         Provide capacity planning and performance monitoring including disaster recovery

·         Coordinate service/support needs with Vendors, Technical Support Engineers, Application Support Engineers, and the Infrastructure Team through effective partnership, collaboration and communication

·         Participate in security and application troubleshooting and incident problem resolutions with other infrastructure teams, including storage, messaging, networking and servers

·         Manage the backup / recovery process for security devices/applications

·         The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

·         Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.

·         Train School IT Executives on the Security Aspects and Systems.

·         Collaborate by attending meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.

·         reports on incidents and breaches, Investigate and resolve issues.

·         Create reports for management on security status.

·         Analyse data to form proposals for improvements (e.g., implementation of new technology)

Competencies Required for the Role:

·         Proven experience as security manager or similar position.

·         Experience using relevant technology and equipment.

·         Experience in reporting and emergency response planning.

·         Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

·         Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.

·         Working knowledge of MS Office.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Qualification:

·         BSC IT / BE with 7 to 10 + years of experience.

·         CCNP – Security

·         Certified on Firewall – Fortinet /Sophos/ PA etc

·         Hands-on knowledge of Firewalls and L2 to L7 Network and Security Levels

·         CEH

·         SIEM and Logging knowledge will be an advantage

·         Understanding of security domains & ISO 27001 would be an added advantage

·         Should have participated in DR projects & drills

·         Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.)

·         Experience in handling customer/user data and ensuring compliance

·         Security related global certification is an added advantage.
