Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Hands-on experience with data quality tools and MDM platforms.

Familiarity with data integration tools and methodologies (ETL).

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with different levels of the organization.

Primary purpose:

QA Engineer is responsible for School ERP and other business applications within an organization meet high-quality standards and are functional according to specifications. The role involves developing test cases and plans, executing tests, documenting results and defects, and working with the development team to resolve any issues. The testing manager will also be involved in defining testing process & plan, design/implement/execute test plan and software release cycles and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. We are looking for a Lead/Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and test suites for web applications with minimal inputs. This role will be responsible for leading a team of automation engineers and ensuring that automation project is delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and review software testing strategies to ensure effective and comprehensive testing of the school ERP system.

Analyze test results and test metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing software quality.

Prepare, review, and present test reports and documentation to stakeholders, providing clear and concise information about the testing process and outcomes.

Design and review the overall Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Estimation, considering manual testing, functional automation, ETL testing, and performance testing.

Prepare and review test metrics, capturing key testing metrics to assess the progress, effectiveness, and quality of the testing effort.

Prepare, review, and execute a detailed plan of the testing life cycle, ensuring that all necessary testing activities are conducted systematically and efficiently.

Log software product defects, track their progress, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution and closure of identified issues.

Implement an integrated Quality Approach, collaborating with the development team and other stakeholders to establish quality standards and processes throughout the software development life cycle.

Take ownership of quality checks for production, deployments of new changes, enhancements, bug fixes, and other software modifications, ensuring that all changes meet the required quality standards.

Compile and publish accurate and timely information to support decision making, prioritization, and status assessment, providing stakeholders with the necessary data to make informed decisions about the software's readiness for release.

Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute test suites for various platforms, focusing testing efforts on high-risk areas and ensuring adequate coverage to mitigate potential risks.

Should be able to develop automation framework in JAVA

Should be able to create automation scripts for testcase.

Should be able to create and maintain regression, smoke, and sanity suite as per release.

Should be able to analyze automation report and create sprint test completion reports.

Should be able to prepare test scenarios/cases/execution and test results.

Should be able to develop automation code for API automation – Rest Assured API.
